Degradable polymer films: RAFT-mediated emulsion copolymerization of lipoic acid with vinyl monomers

Abstract

Lipoic acid (LA) was successfully incorporated in PBA- b -PSt diblock copolymers via RAFT emulsion polymerization. Films were formed with LA showing minimal effect on mechanical properties. Degradation in DMF results in large molecular weight decrease.
