Abstract
Efficient initiation from ammonium trifluoroacetate salts (TFA) dendritic end-groups yields well-defined poly( l -lysine) star polypeptides with 8, 16 and 32 arms. Hydrolytic core degradation and plasmid DNA complexation is demonstrated.
