Abstract

Infrared spectroscopy has been used to more and more to characterize pharmaceutical products, even they are chemical substances or herbal, in order to monitor some modifications and to detect fraudulent modifications. This article reviews some of the most relevant papers related to infrared spectroscopy utilization for adulterated drugs (chemical and herbal) products analysis published between 2015 and 2020.
