Abstract
This chapter examines AI's transformative role in educational assessment and feedback, focusing on enhancing teaching and learning through technology. As AI reshapes traditional practices, the chapter emphasizes that AI in assessment should extend beyond automation, advocating for designs that encourage deep learning and student engagement. Using adaptive feedback, educators can support skill development and promote meaningful engagement with the material. The chapter presents a framework for AI-integrated assessments, stressing clear guidance, ethical considerations, and the active roles of both educators and students.
