Abstract

Abstract In this paper, we suggest and analyze two algorithms; a new Inverse Quadratic Interpolation and Illinois for solving nonlinear equation of a solar cell single diode type with initial value x 0 and load resistance R varies from 1 to 5 Ω is implemented in MATLAB program. Using five numerical testes examples, the results secured reveal that the suggested algorithm has lesser iterations than the other method (Illinois method), so the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method is the best.
