Abstract

The current study focuses on the MHD flow of Casson and Carreau nanofluids in a porous medium with Cattaneo–Christov double diffusion over a stretching sheet in the presence of thermal radiation, chemical reaction, and suction/injection. Viscous dissipation, Brownian motion, and thermophoresis effects are also considered. The governing PDEs are converted into a system of ODEs by implementing suitable variables. The resulting equations are elucidated via the bvp5c Matlab package. The effects of the dimensionless parameters on the flow, heat, and mass transfer physiognomies are analyzed in detail via figures and tables. It is noticed that an improvement in the thermal relaxation parameter and suction parameter reduces the thermal field. Further, we perceived that the heat exchange rate is dropped for growing values of the Eckert number, the Brownian motion, and thermophoresis parameters. Furthermore, we validated our results with the available results in the literature for some special cases of the problem.
