Abstract
This study introduces and designs a slotted microstrip antenna which can be applied for high-band 5G applications. The antenna can be used for high bit rate, less traffic, and expands user retention.A classic rectangular microstrip antenna’s return loss, gain, and bandwidth is improved by superimposing a square and a circular slot. The proposed antenna is designed on an FR4 substrate with 0.8-millimeter thickness, having a dielectric constant of 4.3 and loss tangent of 0.025. A 50 Ω feeding line is applied to feed the antenna. The provided antenna’s return loss, gain, and bandwidth are -48.877 dB, 6.51 dBi, and 3.088 GHz, correspondingly.
