Abstract
Moving average filters output the average of <italic xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">N</i> samples, and it is easy to see (and to prove) that they are low-pass filters.
