Abstract
There are a number of issues that have an effect on the overall efficiency of power distribution within the electrical transmission system, which has led to the need for improved power quality. The purpose of this article is to make power quality management techniques more accessible and relevant. This will allow power engineers and other industry stakeholders to put effective plans in place to ensure stable and dependable power distribution by using the way that has been presented. This research work introduces D-STATCOM (Decentralized Static Synchronous Compensator), a fresh energy solution utilizing pulse width modulation (PWM). The primary goal of D-STATCOM is to enhance the power efficiency of connected devices. This study conducts a simulation-based assessment and analysis of the D-STATCOM model using MATLAB to present findings and outcomes for the evaluation and analysis. It excels in providing detailed information about the D-STATCOM circuit and addressing electrical issues in electronic systems.
