Abstract

The homo anion–cation coupling of cyclic diaryl λ 3 -bromanes/diarylbrominiums has been disclosed for the first time. Moreover, metal-free cross-coupling of cyclic diarylbrominiums with alcohols, phenols, and water has been developed.
