Photochemical transformation of chlorobenzenes and white phosphorus into arylphosphines and phosphonium salts

Abstract
A simple photochemical procedure is reported for the arylation of white phosphorus with aryl chlorides, using the strong photoreductant tetrakis(dimethylamino)ethylene (TDAE) and UV light irradiation.
