Recognition of suitable Pest for Crops using Image Processing and Deep Learning Techniques

Abstract
In the economy of India, agriculture plays vital role and exports processed food to all over the world. Modern agricultural methodologies and tools become essential to get sustainable crop production. During crop growth, it goes through many stages as well it is influenced by various factors, like natural calamities, different types of diseases, pests’ attacks, weeds management etc. To monitor crop personally required expertise in that field as well it is time consuming process. The research in the field of disease identification and pest management can prevent crop loss at certain extent. In this paper, exhaustive survey on pest management for crops are mentioned. A deep learning model with optimization technique is proposed for better accuracy. Recent advancement in deep learning approaches has been applied to get more accurate detection of pests. Experimental results shown that optimization based deep leaning method is providing better recognition of different types of diseases and pests.
