Abstract
-acetylaspartate (NAA), amino acid neurotransmitters (e.g., glutamate, glutamine, GABA, glycine), pyroglutamic acid, unsaturated fatty acids, and choline-based compounds are discriminant biomarkers. Additionally, metabolic changes varied as a function of age, but importantly not of sex.
