Facial Recognition System using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN)

Abstract
Facial recognition technology is fast developing and has the potential to transform a variety of industries. The current study discusses the technology, techniques, and development of automatic face recognition. Also, the various Face Detection and Facial Recognition technologies, along with their application in how they are used in various sectors, are discussed in this paper. In the current study, we have experimented with machine learning techniques to detect faces and their emotional states on the Kaggle dataset. The experimental accuracy of 64.3 % is achieved using the CNN model.
