Abstract

A novel zero-dimensional hybrid ferroelectric [(CH 3 ) 4 N]GeBr 3 ( 1 ) with was successfully obtained. Compound 1 undergoes a mmm F mm 2-type ferroelectric transition at 236 K, and a reconfiguration transition accompanied by a dimensional change at 453 K.
