Abstract
Climate change is the greatest threat to human health. An estimated 4.6% of global annual greenhouse gas emissions arise from health care.1 Rising temperatures and heat stress can cause dehydration, resulting in stone disease, acute kidney injury, and chronic kidney disease.2
