Abstract
The extremely challenging deprotonation of the amine ( t Bu 3 Si) 2 NH led to a range of s-block metal complexes with superbulky ( t Bu 3 Si) 2 N − . Depending on metal and solvent, ( t Bu 3 Si) 2 N − can be classified as a halogen-free weakly coordinating anion.
