Abstract
This paper presents a collaborative head-mounted display-based virtual reality application designed to teach the daily living skill of shopping to children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Students and teachers can join the same virtual supermarket using HMDs and work together to complete a shopping trip. Results from an explorative study on eight adolescents with ASD are presented, and future potentials of the interventions are discussed in the paper.
