Abstract
The note is devoted to the interval observer design problem for discrete-time switched systems. By designing a suitable interval observer, it is convenient to achieve the interval estimation bounds of system states and reduce the effect of the unknown external disturbance. The interval observer design method has two main steps. They are <inline-formula xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$H_{\infty }$ </tex-math></inline-formula> observer design and interval hull design respectively. Besides, the superiority of the proposed method is proved in the aspect of theory. One comparative example is carried out to verify the conclusion above.
