Abstract

Intense UVC afterglow from a Sr 2 P 2 O 7 :Pr 3+ phosphor can effectively inactivate infectious methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), which offers new insights into developing deep-UV-light sources for sterilization applications.
