Abstract
This paper explores the critical importance of user-centric design principles in developing effective educational technology interfaces. It delves into various aspects such as understanding user needs through surveys, interviews, and usability testing, and emphasizes adaptability and customization through intelligent adaptive interfaces. Accessibility and inclusivity are highlighted as foundational principles to ensure that all learners, including those with disabilities, can effectively engage with educational content. The paper also examines the role of human-computer interaction (HCI) in enhancing user engagement, particularly through seamless interactions, gamification, and feedback mechanisms.
