Abstract

Record high performance and longevity is reported for a butane-fueled low-temperature-operating solid oxide fuel cell (LT-SOFC). Affordable catalysts, Cu and CeO 2 , were incorporated into a thin-film-based SOFC to enable this remarkable enhancement.
