Abstract
A high chemoselectivity in the visible-light-induced reaction of 2<italic>H</italic>-indazoles with alcohols controlled by the reaction atmosphere was achieved, providing C3-alkoxylated 2<italic>H</italic>-indazoles and <italic>ortho</italic>-alkoxycarbonylated azobenzenes.
