Electromagnetic corrections to leptonic pion decay from lattice QCD using infinite-volume reconstruction method

Abstract
We present a lattice procedure to calculate the leptonic pion decay width with only exponentially-suppressed finite-volume errors using the infinite-volume reconstruction method. In our approach, the infrared divergences from virtual-photon exchange and radiative emission can be cancelled in a simple, direct way using lattice hadronic functions as inputs.
