Abstract

The synthesis of 2-vinyl pyrroles has been achieved via copper-catalyzed cascade reactions of enaminones and alkyl propiolates. The synthesis of 2,3-dicarboxylate-functionalized products has been tuned by using internal alkynyl dicarboxylates.
