Abstract

Eu 2+ :CsCaX 3 (X = Cl, Br, I) nanocrystals in glass show tunable blue emission, excellent chemical-, thermal- and photo-stability, high photoluminescence quantum yield of 81.9% and external quantum efficiency of 24.6% when excited with a UV LED chip.
