Abstract

A novel synthetic method to tailor the shapes of highly uniform upconverting CaF 2 NCs is demonstrated. We investigate the shape-dependent self-assemblies, and size, shape, and dopant composition-dependent upconversion luminescence of CaF 2 NCs.
