Abstract

Summary statement This study identified root architecture optimization as the core mechanism by which Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) promote root development, revealing a complete promotion chain from root architecture to nutrient accumulation and plant growth. The analysis also discovered a threshold effect based on colonization rates with distinct root regulatory patterns and explored how biological factors influence AMF‐root interactions, advancing our understanding of plant‐AMF symbiotic mechanisms.
