Scaling Agile Delivery

Abstract
This chapter covers project management at an organizational level, referred to as Scaled Delivery. It compares project and portfolio management with scaled Agile approaches , including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS) , and Scrum@Scale. We discuss the complexities of large-scale project delivery, including enterprise-level prioritization, project and product portfolio management, organizational alignment, and related organizational structures, as well as organizational culture and mindset. We also cover the concept of organizational Agile transformation and successful patterns (pilots, change management models, communities of practice), as well as teamwork and innovation at the enterprise level.
