Abstract
thermoplasmonic detection. The results are compared with a conventional high-sensitivity enzyme-linked immunosorbent clinical assay (ELISA), showing high sensitivity (75%) and specificity (100%) as well as fast response features (5 minutes). Thus, the proposed portable and miniaturized microfluidic plasmonic chip is successfully validated for clinical applications and transferred to clinical settings for the early diagnosis of cardiac diseases, leading towards the progress of personalized medicine.
