Abstract

Being an influential thermophysical property, the modelling of densities has been performed over a wide range of temperature from 278.15 K to 373.15 K of 169 different DESs primarily belong to the choline, tetraalkylammonium, menthol, betaine, alanine subcategories having total 1421 experimental datapoints. The models used for the computation of densities are Reid et al. (RR) model, Mchaweh et al. (MH) model, Linear generalized model (LGM), Predictive Soave−Redlich−Kwong (PSRK) equation of state with NSM1 alpha function model (NMPRNSM1), Predictive Soave−Redlich−Kwong (PSRK) equation of state with original derived alpha function model (NMSRK). amongst them the cohesion-based models namely NMPRNSM1 and NMSRK predict densities more precisely than the other models.
