Abstract
The density of current road traffic frequently producing circumstances that endanger the protection of individuals. For the safety of individual, one has to keep the safe distance from an upcoming vehicle in a busy road. In an intelligent vehicle system, the selection of sensors, orientation and velocity of persons and other moving objects are significant for logical decisions in a given scenario. These acquired information can be deployed to offer a Driver Assistance System (DAS) for future intelligent vehicle. In the proposed work, vision-based sensors are castoff to follow the targeted object moving in road traffic. A real time data set is prepared for the proposed work to track the object positions for an intelligent vehicle in road traffic.
