Abstract

A defect-rich Ru/Ni–CeO 2 catalyst was fabricated using a MOF-mediated pyrolysis-reduction strategy. The robust EMSI effect between Ru and Ni–CeO 2 with abundant Ni defects provides striking HOR activity and resistance to CO poisoning.
