Abstract
A [Si 4 S 10 ] supertetrahedra containing infrared nonlinear optical material, Rb 2 CdSi 4 S 10 , with a wide band gap (4.23 eV), high LIDT (5 × AgGaS 2 ), and moderate SHG response (0.6 × AgGaS 2 ) is designed and fabricated using a flux method.
