Abstract
Agriculture is the primary source of income and livelihood in a number of countries. There exists a variety of the food crops out of which rice is considered as a main food crop especially in the Asian countries which is affected by the different diseases at the different stages. There are number of diseases that affect the quality and growth of the crop. Sometimes it’s very difficult to find out the disease in the traditional way or with naked eye at the earlier stage because some diseases have the same kind of symptoms. Whereas an automated system is very helpful to find the disease at the right time which will help the farmers to prevent the crop from damage in an earlier stage. To create an automated system different researchers have used different kinds of techniques like image processing, machine learning, deep learning etc. This paper reviews the literature of various types of diseases in rice crops and comparisons on the basis of accuracy, technique and dataset have been provided.
