Abstract

This article presents a 1×4 microstrip patch array antenna configuration as applications at 5G C-band access-point. Array employs a microstrip antenna module at 5G C-Band (3.4-3.8 GHz) with 2 vertical slots. Compact size, low profile antenna array, and basic configuration is a strong candidate for implementation with 5G access points. Simulation and Designing of the proposed slotted patch antenna are carried out by using a software called High-Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS). The proposed design provides a total gain of 2.90 dB for single patch & 7.713 dB for 1×4 array structure. Return loss is seen as -15.6362 dB for a single patch and -16.8991 dB for a 1×4 array is achieved. Antenna gain including return loss & radiation pattern is studied.
