Abstract
In this paper, the effect of different control strategies on the output power and conversion efficiency for a Dual Active Bridge (DAB) converter is presented. The four analyzed control strategies are the Single Phase Shift (SPS), the Extended Phase Shift (EPS), the Dual Phase Shift (DPS) and the Triple Phase shift (TPS). The analytical expressions of the output power for each control strategy are presented. The output power range of each control is evaluated for a particular case study. A comparison in terms of efficiency is discussed.
