Abstract

Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is the most common form of dementia with hallmarks of ?-amyloid (A?) plaques, tau tangles, and neurodegeneration. Studies have shown that neurodegeneration components, especially brain metabolic deficits, are more predictable for AD severity than A? and tau.
