Fiber-To-The-Room (FTTR): Standards and Deployments

Abstract
We review recent advances in the field deployment of fiber-to-the-room (FTTR) systems for Gigabit/s home networking and in the global standardization of the FTTR solution. A novel centralized Wi-Fi access network (C-WAN) architecture is described.
