Abstract

The effect of flexible tetra-methylenevs.semi-rigid xylylene spacers appended in two quinoline tagged sensorsbqbpbn(1) andbqbpxn(2) on the sensing of nitro-phenolic compounds and metal ions has been demonstrated.
