Abstract

Mimicking Sunlight An unprecedented ultra-broadband full-spectrum emission phosphor is designed by local structural modulation with Al3+ heterovalent substitution of Mg2+. The phosphor emits an ultra-broadband spectrum covering the entire visible range, closely matching the sun's emission. This phosphor is ideal for simulating sunlight and is promising for applications in color hue detection, visible light communication, and smart agriculture.
