Evolution of topological edge modes from honeycomb photonic crystals to triangular-lattice photonic crystals
Jin‐Kyu Yang, Yongsop Hwang, Sang Soon Oh
Abstract
The authors demonstrate that edge modes can exist at triangular photonic crystal slabs where Berry curvature vanishes, and they experience no reflection at 120 degrees bending as in quantum valley Hall photonic crystals.
