Abstract

NiS 2 /CdS photocatalyst produced from deep eutectic solvothermal technique is efficient for visible-light-driven dehydrogenation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural into H 2 and 2,5-diformylfuran at rates of up to 519.64 and 476.60 μmol g −1 h −1 , respectively.
