Abstract

, which are associated with enhanced immune function and gut health. Additionally, functional prediction using PICRUSt indicated an increase in genes associated with energy production and metabolism, suggesting a broader functional impact of lifestyle modifications on gut microbial functionalities. These findings revealed the potential causal relationships between lifestyle modifications and gut microbiome shifts, providing valuable insights into the interactions between environment, diet, and the gut microbiota.
