A 290 Gbps Silicon Photonic Microring Modulator with 83 -aJ/bit Power Consumption

Abstract
We design and experimentally demonstrate a microring modulator based on a 300 mm silicon photonic platform, achieving 112 GBaud of PAM-4 and PAM-6 operation with the power consumption of 114 aJ/bit and 83 aJ/bit respectively.
