Novel antimony-based mixed halides exhibiting an excellent SHG response and a broad transmission range

Abstract
Two novel antimony halide crystals RbSbF3Cl and Rb3Sb4F14Cl were synthesized. Rb3Sb4F14Cl exhibits a strong SHG response of 3 × KDP and a broad transparency range of 0.27–13.3 μm, while RbSbF3Cl features a large birefringence of 0.31 at 546 nm.
