Abstract

Abstract Indirect electrolysis method using appropriate mediators enables numerous chemical reactions. The general principles of mediators were described herein with a particular focus on non‐transition metal mediators. Recent representative examples of bond formation reactions by indirect electrolysis are summarized and discussed here.
