Abstract
This article offers the methodology of experimental studies of nail connections with different thicknesses of outer and middle elements under single short-term loads. Based on experimental studies, the load-bearing capacity of such elements is determined. Deformation diagrams of nail connections under the action of a single static load are constructed. The nature of the failure of nail connections is described. A methodology for determining the bearing capacity of nail connections with different thicknesses of outer and middle elements is proposed.
