Abstract
This chapter focuses on the shading effect of different configurations used for enhancing the performance of photovoltaic systems and these systems work on real-time analysis with the use of IoT. For IoT we use Raspberry PI 4B, personal computers, and cloud computing. The data grab from solar panel, processed by Raspberry PI and communicate through internet for subscriber as personal computer to monitor real-time basis. Shading spot adversely affect the efficiency of solar array which leads in increasing its cost. The drawbacks can be minimized using various configurations, such as total cross tied configuration, series-parallel configuration, Fibonacci series configuration, and SuDoKu configuration. This paper highlights the five different configurations under different shading patterns. It has been observed that the power output configuration is better than other configurations in the case of SuDoKu because the output energy is maximized, which helps operate medical devices in emergency situations.
