What Is Climate Literacy?
Marek Oziewicz
Abstract
This article offers a work-in-progress reflection on the concept of climate literacy as we use it in CLE. The first part includes a working definition of climate literacy. This is followed by a brief historical outline of the two approaches to climate literacy: as a narrow, disciplinary-specific competence versus a wider, interdisciplinary one. The argument is offered as an invitation to your own inquiry about what climate literacy means to you.
